Our first ever Rouge Poetry Slam was absolutely amazing! 6 Poets came through with their best work for a chance at 2 spots in the slam series finals. The first round started with poets Andy, Titi, Nikels, Colton, Chris and new comer to Rouge Poetry Danielle. Each poet competing for 4 spots in the final round, a surprise tie led to 5 poets going forward instead. Andy, Danielle, Titi, Nikels and Chris entered into the second round in a bid for the final two spots in round 3. In the end Danielle and Titi battled it out to the finish with Danielle claiming first place with a 0.1 point lead! It was an intense competition to say the least!
