Tomorrow night at Rouge Lounge, the Breath In Poetry Collective welcomes back the Inaugural Edmonton Poetry Slam Team after an incredibly successful week at the Canadian Festival of Spoken Word!!! Come chat with your home team and get a special showcase of the poems that brought the house down in Ottawa.

Women And Revolution

As part of Solidarity week, the Breath In Poetry Collective will be hosting Women And Revolution on Tuesday October 5th at Rouge Lounge.

Solidarity Week is an endeavor initiated by various University of Alberta campus and community groups. It aims to create a space and an opportunity for people from different backgrounds to come together and to learn about each other’s struggles against colonialism, imperialism, and various forms of domination and oppression.

Come out and hear the ladies roar! It’s going to be a packed night, so get there early!
