Hello Family, we are fortunate enough to be going into our 3rd seasons of Rouge Poetry. I hope you guys had a marvelous Holiday with family and friends, and a extremely great start to your New year. We are looking forward to see you guys. It is safe to say, we missed you. (insert awww)
We have got tons of request to start the night earlier, and to accommodate the people who make the poetry night so eventful, we decided to start the night at 8 pm instead of 9.
On January 24th, it will be a night of poetry from the Breath In Poetry Collective, and a very special performance by Edmonton’s Poet Laureate Anna Marie Sewell. It will be a fun night, and it will be great to see one another again. Please do come, bring family and friends as well.
Anna Marie Sewell
Anna Marie Sewell is Edmonton’s 4th Poet Laureate. She invites all Edmontonians (visitors, too) to come write to her at the Poem Catcher in City Hall, and looks forward to the rest of her PL term being even more fun than this first quarter has been.
Anna Marie also teaches at The Learning Centre Literacy Association, and dabbles in music, gardening and related arcane pursuits.
Check out the Facebook Rouge Poetry page for the event.
See you soon
