Poetry Slam featuring Sean O’Gorman

There aren’t many slams left. 2 to be exact. If you are a poet and haven’t competed yet, what are you waiting for? Come spit some fuego aka Fire.

Last Slam we were fortunate to have Remi Kanazi who is from New York, feature. The night was well attended and we even had 7 poets compete.

This week we are featuring a great poet who was part of the 2011
Ottawa Capital Slam team. His name is Sean O’Gorman

Sean O`Gorman is a Spoken Word artist active in the scene since 2009. He is a member of the Capital Poetry Collective, as well as a member of the Urban Legends organizing committee. He is the author of 2 volumes of poetry. In the 2010 Canadian Festival of Spoken Word he was a semi-finalist as a member of the Wild Card team and in 2011 was a semifinalist again as a member of the Capital Slam team.
